A Letter from the President
We are pleased to provide you with information on the Bishop
Garrigan Schools, and we welcome all of you who have a potential interest in
choosing to become part of the Bishop Garrigan family.
Our mission is dedicated to providing quality value-centered
Catholic education to the young people of north central Iowa. We believe
that education is not only based on academic and activity excellence, but on the
individual development of a personal faith life. Christ has been used as
our example of the perfect educator for 2000 years. When challenges arise
in our lives, it is comforting to know that we can use the gospel message to
resolve concerns.
The Garrigan family spirit is one of excellence, encouraging
all of our students to develop fully the gifts with which they have been
blessed. This requires a full and varied program of academics and
co-curricular activities and a staff of outstanding teachers, coaches, and
moderators to bring out the best in the students with whom they work each
day. The successes of our students are reassuring evidence that we are
achieving those goals.
